Birds of a Feather Session (Personalized Learning)
Kathleen McClaskey and I are hosting a Birds of a Feather session on Personalized Learning at ISTE on Monday 5:30-6:30. We need your input on questions. The format for the hour is:
- Introduce Personalized Learning (5 min) - whole group
Share form to collect list of participants - Review Questions to discuss (5 min)
- Choose a group based on each question for small group discussions (6-8 in group) (5 min)
- Discuss key points and answers to question in small groups (15 min)
- Share results from each group 2 min each
- Closing thoughts
We are collecting stories and personal journeys so we'll also have a site to collect your stories to share with the world.

looks good - some questions I think are compelling
where do we find the balance on a single, clear experience in ed and a truly personalized setting?
When we personalize, are the assessments that we use uniform or situational? If so, how do we norm this? Or should we?
Are there thresholds in age level or maturity where there is more scaffolding needed and how much is enough?
