- About Me
- I am a Google Certified Teacher-Administrator, professional developer and teacher in the San Francisco Bay Area. I started as a crossing guard and moved on to work as an Elementary school instructional aide for regular education and special education students. I did this as I earned my university degrees from California State University, East Bay. I was a writing tutor at CSU, East Bay before earning my English and Psychology degrees.
I taught all levels of English, from remedial to Advanced Placement and acting as Newspaper Advisor, Mock Trial Coach and English-Language Arts Curriculum Leader. I then earned my Master's in Educational Leadership and now am an educational leader, focusing on curriculum and instruction, special education, data analysis and educational technology.
I have an unquenchable thirst for learning and increasing access for all students. I love my family (which includes my dog and cat), all music and making toys into empowering tools for all learners.
